I love skype!!!  Chason is all the way in Indiana this semester at Notre Dame. It sucks when your best friend lives days away. But we have been great at being a part of each others lives. Talking on the phone and texting helps, but It's not the same as seeing the person!! Its been Fun. Last night we were able to Watch Parks and Recreation together VIA Skype and feel like we were hanging out.  Thank you Skype for not allowing distance not become an obstacle in my relationships. Now I just need to teach my mom how to Skype ;)

Recently Lai, Chaso, and I went  to watch Katy Perry's new movie PART OF ME!!  I have always liked Katy Perry and have considered her to be the  next Queen of POP. She is the only female artist out right now who actually sings POP music. Everyone else is diving into the Dance and electro pop. Or you see the weird auto-tuned crap Ke$ha and Rihanna put out. Katy songs are about having a good time and young love. That is what POP should be. not songs about S&M and all the other crap you hear in today's music. But anyways after watching this film we have all become BIG fans of not just Katy Perry  the musician but Katy the lady. She is  special. I wish I was friends with her, she is down to earth and optimistic about life. She dreamed big and worked her a$$ off. She deserves all  the success she's found!

Watched the Republican Convention!!! For the first time in a long time I am feeling optimistic about the Future of our country. I love America and feel very blessed to be born in a place with so many opportunities and resources available to reach my dreams. I do believe  Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are the guys to bring hope back to the people. After studying Politics and Economy at the U, I feel like Romney/Ryan are best qualified to boost the Economy which is the main issue affecting the life's of many Americans. I also loved Anne Romney's speech about LOVE and Success!! She blew me away. She even maid Karla cry haha.

Really grateful for my family and Chason and Laila today!!

These past few days have been crazy busy!! Had a lot on my plate. Work, school, money, friends, family, love-life, politics, are on my mind. And anyone who knows me, knows I think too much. It's nice knowing your family and friends are there to listen and give great love and support. Had lunch with my sister Ruth and Laila!! It was great... watched the Republican Convention with Karla and Douglas!! TEAM MITT!! and talked to Chason about me flying out to Notre Dame and Chicago in October and loads of other things you talk to you best bud about. I have a lot on my plate. and most of it is good, so I am feeling really GRATEFUL ;)

My Best Friend Chason

Sometimes having a brother is even better than having a superhero!

How do you know you've found your best friend? When you are ready to talk to them about anything, even though they know everything about you already.  Chason is the brother I asked Santa for every Christmas and mom and dad for every year for my birthday! After 21 years I got him and he was worth the wait. He is my brother from another mother! It was his 26th birthday this week. Sad I could not send his BIG day with him this year, but I'll make up for it.
